Visiting Lamas
Since the temple's inception in 1973, there has been a continuous stream of activities and teachings with Nechung Rinpoche and some of the major lineage holders in Tibetan Buddhism. These lamas, most of them trained in Tibet, generously gave teachings on all aspects of Sutra and Tantra; in particular, the innermost heart treasures of their traditions. Most of them commented on how very special and blessed the temple site is, that it truly is like a "pure land". We have been so fortunate to have the presence of these great masters here, who have shared their experience and realizations, and inspired so many students on the path.
