We are very excited to announce that Professor Robert Thurman will give a talk “In the Spirit of Manjusri: Emptiness as the Medicine of Compassion” at the temple on Sunday, February 12, 2023 at 10 am. 

Manjusri is the manifestation of pristine wisdom, and meditation on emptiness & compassion is the key for the door to liberation.

Professor Thurman is a pre-eminent scholar & teacher of Buddhism, and is renowned for his inspiring presentations. He is the co-founder of Tibet House US in NYC and Menla Retreat in Upstate NY, and a dear friend of His Holiness the Dalai Lama and Nechung Monastery.
